The Rev. Samuel A. Smith

Rev. Smith was educated at Auburn University at Montgomery, and has a Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary. He was previously Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Yazoo City, MS. 

Sam and his wife Jodi have been married for 22 years and have five children, ranging in age from 18 to 3 years old.

Sam is a dynamic preacher, energetic leader, and engaging communicator.

In addition to his pastorate, Sam is a chaplain in the MS Air national Guard with the rank of Major.

   
     

The Rev. D. Marion Clark

Rev. Clark was raised in Kingstree, SC and graduated from the University of South Carolina. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary near Boston in 1981. He has pastored churches in the Carolinas and Florida. His longest tenure has been serving as Executive Minister of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. 

Marion has published several books: The Problem of Good, Telling the Story of Jesus, To Know Wisdom: Meditations on Proverbs, What Matters, and Speaking the Truth in Love. (See amazon author page).
He has also edited two devotional books using the sermons and writings of James Montgomery Boice: To the Glory of God and Come to the Waters.

Yvonne Beasley, Administrative Assistant

Yvonne Beasley joined LOPC in July of 2005 and is the staff's Administrative Assistant. We refer to Yvonne as "the hub," because she keeps everything running smoothly. Her talents are limitless and her servant's spirit are such an asset to the staff and the congregation.

Gale Prince, Director of Publications

Gale Prince joined LOPC in 2004, and is our Director of Publicity. Her responsibilities are maintaining the church web site, pictorial directory, church newsletter, and other miscellaneous publications and brochures.

Terri Forrester, Treasurer

Terri Forrester has been a member of LOPC since 2012 and serves as our Church Treasurer.

She is responsible for overseeing cash inflow and outflow and the church budget.   We are fortunate to have such a gifted member serve as a volunteer.
