The Women's Ministry includes ALL women who are in the church.  It is not a club but an organizational structure that provides an opportunity for each woman to discern and exercise her gifts and abilities to the glory of God in the total work and worship of the church.

The purpose of the Women's Ministry is that every woman know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, community and throughout the world.

The goal of this purpose will become a reality as women are given opportunities to respond to the Gospel and to pray, study the Scriptures, fellowship and serve the Lord together.

As with all organizations in the church, the Women's Ministry is under authority and guidance of the Session.

Ladies' Bible Studies:

There is an Early Morning Bible Study each weekly at 7:30 a.m. and a Mid Morning Bible Study the first and third Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Please click here for more information.

There is a monthly gathering at LOPC in room 108 on the 3rd Monday of each month at 10:30 a.m. for prayer and fellowship. Please click here for more information.

Praying Hearts - Busy Hands Ministry

This group meets once a month to sew, quilt or crochet items that are given to individuals for comfort. Please click here for more information.

"The Book Binders" Book Group"

All women in the church are invited to join our book group which meets periodically on a Friday at 10:30 at the church. You do not have to have read the featured book to join us; come enjoy the company and decide if you want to read the book after hearing about it. Our "Fifth Monday Mugs & Muffins" gatherings are great for getting to know each other. Please go here for more information.


The Women's Ministry coordinates visits with the residents of the Oconee Senior Living facility on the first Wednesday of every month. Please go here for more information.


The Women in the church assisted a local Women's Shelter with the renovation of one of their bedrooms and bath.

Presbytery Meetings
