Youth Group

Youth Groups generally meets on Sunday Afternoons from 5:00 - 7:00 at various homes or at the LOPC pavilion. It is for rising 6th graders through high school.

Service Projects

With hurricane season in full force, LOPC's Mission to North America Disaster Relief liason Dick Forrester thought that more "Flood Buckets" should be assembled, and the youth group took this on as a service project.

MNA Disaster Response’s disaster relief takes many forms. Flood Buckets contain an array of cleaning supplies typically needed in disaster cleanup. Bedding Kits contain pillows and sheets. Hygiene kits provide personal toiletries. Volunteers assemble the donated items into the respective kits, which are stored at the MNA Disaster Response warehouse, then shipped where needed. Sheds of HOPE provide victims a dry, secure place to store their rescued belongings. Working through local PCA churches in disaster areas, volunteers also work to assist victims in reclaiming their homes, belongings and their lives following a disaster event. THANKS YOUTH!
